Overview of MLSA Program
Apply
It is a student ambassador program. There is no test, you just simply have to apply at the link :-
You would have to fill a short form. What makes you unique from others is how you answer the three questions in that application.
At Least one of the three questions must have a video answer! You can upload it to youtube (as unlisted if you don’t want it public) or use any other video sharing site!
Submit the application and wait! There is no deadline as such, but they review applications on a monthly basis (or more) so wait for their reply.

You will get updated on almost all the details during All Hands Calls taken by Pablo Veramendi.
All Hands Calls
Attend one All Hands call, or watch the call recording, at least once every 90 days. Call recordings are available within 48 hours of call completion.
After you become an MLSA -
- You will get access to MLSA teams (which is in microsoft teams). You get to network with people from different parts of the world.
- You will get an outlook MLSA mail where you get most of the updates. You will also get major updates in the mail you registered.
ALPHA MLSA
To get ALPHA benefits -
- Sign on Student Ambassadors Teams and engage with other Student Ambassadors team members.
- Join leagues — One technical league (eg:- AI/ML, Iot, Mobile/Web development) and one social league(eg:- education, greentech, healthcare). To join complete the MS Learn path for the same.
Learn Paths on Microsoft Learn Begin a Microsoft Learn learning path within 60 days of program acceptance and complete it within 120 days of program acceptance.
Learn accounts must be opened using your Student Ambassadors email. Linking your Student Ambassadors email to a Learn account opened under another email, will not satisfy the requirement.
Successful first-time completion of this requirement will advance your milestone from Student Ambassador to Alpha Student Ambassador. This advancement is automated and can take from 24–72 hours. You will receive an e-mail notification that you have advanced to Alpha once complete.
How do I complete a learning path?
If you are unsure how to create a learning path, please follow these steps: · Go to Microsoft Learn
- In the top right corner, Sign In using your @studentambassadors.com account.
- Select your Role from the filter drop down menu
- Select your Level from the filter drop down menu
- Click Learning Path from the Types drop down menu
- Select the learning path of your choice
- Click Start
BETA MLSA
- Host a workshop, hackathon or AI Gaming event.
- Do read the rules before organizing events. (Eg- there must be at least 15 attendees and a minimum 1 hr presentation).
- Documents such as templates for presentations could be accessed from microsoft teams ( Program Information> Marketing>Files tab).
Student Ambassadors Event
Plan, host, and submit your first Student Ambassadors event within 1 year of program acceptance. Complete additional events at least once per 365 days.
Successful first-time completion of this requirement will advance your milestone from Alpha Student Ambassador to Beta Student Ambassador.

• Don’t forget to report Student Ambassadors activities — Go to https://studentambassadors.microsoft.com > my events>add event.
- After the event update the fields such as actual number of attendees etc.
GOLD MLSA
Requirements:-
- Current Beta milestone Student Ambassador
- Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors program participant for at least 1 year
- Highly engaged in the program and local community
